Recording Directly to Audio Track Internally

Post by Divertimento »

Hi everyone. Please excuse my lack of knowledge in this area. I'm new to the Kronos X. My previous workstation was a Roland Fantom X 88 which allowed for direct audio track recording.

Anyway, I'm not sure if I'm missing the explanation somewhere or if it just doesn't allow you to use the internal Programs/Combi's and record them directly to an audio track. Or maybe there's a work around I'm missing... which is very possible.

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.

i'm pretty sure that's not what he's looking for. As far as I know you can record to audio by routing your timbres to the record bus in the IFX/Routing screen and then selecting that record bus as an input on your audio channel.
It's been ages since I did this though. I'm sure the operation guide would help!

Thanks for the reply and info. Looks like this is how it works (IFX/Routing). A bit overwhelming trying to figure out how it all goes together, but now that I know where to look, I'll check the manual for detailed info. Big thanks!
