Yes, spain kicking the ball into touch 10 minutes from time because chilly player was play acting? Did spain intentially not want to win?. England could follow, as Uruguay who had a poor first game may ramp it up a bit for tonights clash.

Don't think so, Uruguay are without Suarez, and Cavani's form isn't good enough to single-handedly inspire the side to a win.

Hope Rooney does something to shut the hypocritical English media, he's been getting a lot of undeserved stick.

I agree, as far as I could see it was the English defence that was the weakest part in the last game and everyone has a go at Rooney, makes no sense to me and I am not even a Rooney fan.

What a bummer. I really thought they deserved it, in the second half. At least Rooney broke his curse. Sturridge had a great night too. The defense was less good but I really wouldn't want to defend against Suarez.

Aw crud. They played okay in the second half. But Suarez is beastly.
Apart from Cahill, the defense was shite.

Can't you reach the semis just ONCE?!

P.S. Situation: Italy thrash Costa Rica, and manage to beat Uruguay by 2-3 goals, and England beat Costa Rica by a big margin, they MIGHT qualify. Fingers crossed!

Yeah there was quite a bit of controversy on that matter.
Every time I see the logo, I see a facepalm. More so, because they coloured one hand yellow and the others green

I would say two chances are left and "slim" has hit the bus. That only leaves "none" from where I sit. Sorry England, just too weak in the back.
