On the PA900Does the master vol have to control the mic vol?
I have a pa900, I use some tracks but sometimes there's variation between each of the tracks vol. when I adjust the track vol. using the master control it affects the mic vol. and on gigs I'm having to adjust both controls on the fly which is a little uncomfortable. I want to use the mic input for the harmony affect instead of going straight into the mixer. I understand that on the pax2 it's a separate control for the mic. Once the mic vol set all you have to do is adjust the track vol should you need to. Hope I'm making sense

Mic volume
Hi, all I have done up to now is tried to get my style tracks midi files MP3 all at
Similar volumes by setting styles volumes in global control mode accomp
Bass and drums all to say 100 then taking a similar volumed midi file and
Match all other midi file volumes to the first one do this volume changing
In sequencer mode then save the file top right drop down menu.
MP3 master volume can be done in global settings as well.
You can also change the keyboards sound volume in global audio limiter
With adjusting the gain perimeter if say a files too quiet and this won't
Affect The mic volume but this does take a couple of presses to get into
There may be another way but I'm still looking, but I am getting by by
Setting things as above. GOOD LUCK!

MP3 volume
Hi, I have found that most of my mp3s play at a similar volume
It's like the player normalizes them
If you don't find that with yours you could put the files through
A program like audacity to get volumes the same,
Remember too that the keyboard song balance knob
( Middle knob ) taking it away from central position can lower the volume
Of your mp3s .
And this works for midi files too also remember what I said before
For midi files just pressing global and go to limiter and highlight gain
Adjust and turning dial for volume change and if you exit that from there
You only have to press the global button each time you want back to that
Position then turn dial
