A lot of Song Styles for the PA3X

Post by keyboard »

Hi
Please check it out...Will probably need a little tweeking but 99% of the work has been done, just have to add your 1% to make it your own.

http://createsongstyles.com/forum/index.php?board=102.0

If you are not satisfied, I will happily reverse the PayPal. Please do not misuse this.

I hope that we can "complement" Korg Forums...... It is hard to compete with Korg Forums.

Hi Ron,

Nice to see a PA3x version there... Could you perhaps tell me how you make the midi files chord neutral, then I would eventually have alot of songstyles to share as well.. :)

Hi

We are very fortunate to have a resident Korg Moderator who knows a lot more than me. He would be the perfect collaborator for you.

We would be most honored if CreateSongStyles can be seen as a compliment to an already established and successful Site.

Right! It's hard to compete with a website that provides excellent resources for almost all KORG products for FREE.

By the way, I just looked up your forums for the first time and couldn't figure out how it works. There's a $40 registration fee but it wasn't clear what it has to offer for "registered" members. What's the quality of Styles? Are you the one who's creating the Styles? Are they made by other users? Are there audio demos available?

Sam

Send me an email with a login name and password and I will create you an account.....check it out and if you are ok with our site, send me PayPal...

Please keep in mind that we are a amateur Site that help each other out. Korg Forums is an awesome Site, as it should be, all the resources are free and you have the best of support from Korg ( it doesn't get any better than that )

We cannot compete with that but we can be one heck of a good starting point when it comes to Song Styles.

Thank you Ron...Yes you could definitely be a good resource specifically for Song-styles, but still it's unclear WHO is creating these styles. Are they just user contributed files (like how it is with the download section here- besides the official Styles), or these are Styles that you have PERSONALLY developed from scratch?

Many of the styles are user-created. Also there are also conversions from other brands, styles made from midi files, styles from previous models, Musikant, etc.
There is plenty of help to be found. It's a great value!

Hi, I inboxed you a couple of days ago, and haven't heard back from you.

As I said in my message, I would take you up on that offer. Alternatively, and this would probably be helpful for you in marketing your site, can I suggest posting some mp3 clips of some styles?

Personally, I'm interested in pop/rock styles from the '70's to today, that are on par with the factory styles. There's a lot of dross floating out there on the internet, including poorly done styles, styes for various ethnic music, regional styles, and styles that just sound very dated for various reasons. Some of these are great, if that's what you happen to be looking for. (Polish disco anyone?) Without knowing what is on your site, and it's relevance to my work, it's hard to justify spending that much $ on it.

Thank you!

I've been thinking about paying the $39. to join but am unsure of a few things.

1. I'd like to hear a sample or two of the styles you refer to
2. Are they styles or midi-files?
3. Once I pay the $39. do I still have to pay for the styles that I want?

Thanks

2. Styles
3. One time charge pays for lifetime of downloads.

Thanks Don. Nice playing, always nice to hear someone in my age group still playing music. What kind of vocal harmonizer are you using. I have the Digitech Workstation EX but it is on it's last note. Finally, I hope these styles will work on the PA 900 as well as the PA3x. Thanks. Chuck
