microkorg and volca keys

Hi all,

I am using Micro as master on channel to for the Keys...POS is select for the arp.....however, when i play the arp the notes from the keys are gated/shortened despite sustain/decay being on max.

Any clue why?

I guess there's no release part to the Keys envelope.The MK arp is set to 50% gate on per step.
I'm not at home, but look for a gate setting in arp edit section (edit knob 2 clockwise past effects I think).It may only have swing,I can't remember.If so ,then that's just the way it works.If there is Gate ,then set to 99%.

Off topic ,I remember you wrote you had problems with Korgs on/off buttons.
I like to leave some gear (like KP3s etc) permanently on,then use a wall plug to switch on,or power 4way adapter switch to turn them on.

I had tried those and as you said that is the way it's going to be...I have swithed to KP3 as the master, and forgone the Micro to trigger the keys

...

Thank you for the advice. Since the KPro swith problem EM_1 and my other ' Tribe are out of commission with the same problem. Can't afford to fix them, at the moment.
