Keys POP

Post by ammanuel »

If If a poping noise is heard along with a note played, does it mean the circuit board is damaged?

Thank you

That could have a hundred reasons..
I hope you are using the correct audio cable. Its a stereo jack.

Anyway. I figured when playing my vbass with the 3 vco's in a certain pitch and short decay i get the impression that there is a lightly popping sound sound. I rather expect that to be normal en just an audible effect which may be interpreted as popping or clicking.

Hi and thank you for responding ( happy new year)

I am using a stereo mini out of the Keys ( two rings) to split mono 1/4 going to the mixing board ( left right)...I thought that is the right cable since since the keys is sending duplicate signals .

Yes the connection is ok. Try rather using only one mono end since there is no point in doubling the signal except your mixing device isnt able to do that.

Other than that im afraid i cant really help.

Try also another cable, another mixer channel, etc... Also check your signal levels, gain settings etc....

Happy NY 8)
