Updated last night, and it went without a hitch (after backing up all of my sounds first of course
).

I agree, its a brilliant and highly useful update.spaceman3 wrote:The new update is awesome!!!
Before this update i had created tons of programs, but only 23 custom combis.
With the new program layer/split function i will be making boatloads of combis.
There is just something about the way the new function works that makes
creating combis fun, fast, and somehow more creative.
I was briefly testing it out and i was amazed that i was able to slap programs together with super fast ease.
There is a fun unexpected element to this new update.
It gets you there so quick you will create way more interesting combis.
KK said it best.
BRILLIANT.
Thank you very much KORG, for this unexpected, very fun and usefull christmas present.

Splits/layers have been around forever, it seems.
But to lay it out so simply, with octave button, Karma, volume, key split, etc, opens up oceans of new creativity.
This update has added even more value to the Kronos and extended its use further.
I updated the other day and noticed some weird stuff with my combis, like sounds out of order and such. I have a Korg Kronos X and I know about he remap but with the factory combis there should not be any remapping required after any update?
Anyway I updated the subsytem and boom it corrected it. So if the subsystem is not that important with these update explain that one...
