Installation 3.1.2 Went Wrong. Reinstall System Software

Post by keekma »

Help. The installation of update 3.1.2. went wrong. Now on reboot, I have an error: "System cannot start due to a file system error. Please reinstall the system software". Do I need to do this with de factory CD and by a external CD player? Of is there a work around? Please help.

Correct. You will need the install disks and a usb cd drive. I know of no workaround for this. Can't say how long it would take you as I've not done this.

I had the SAME EXACT PROBLEM!!!
My Kronos 88 died doing the latest update...
It's currently in the shop...
I tried everything...re-installed the operating system...that failed...I had NO LUCK so far....
Just waiting to hear from the shop to see if they can fix it bc they can get KORG parts and answers.
