Volume Issue in Setlist Mode.

Post by tekdome »

I have assigned a SETLIST slot to load a SEQ. The SEQ has 4 programs assigned to MIDI tracks 1 - 4, and they are all assigned to MIDI CH 1. Essentially, I have created a split combination in SEQ mode because I use the RPPR feature.

The problem is that the program on CH 3 (an organ patch) has significantly low volume when I select the slot in SETLIST mode. If I then click the SEQ button, the volume increases to the appropriate level, and retains it's level if I go back to SETLIST mode.

When I check the control surface levels in SETLIST mode, they are set at the correct levels as in SEQ mode. Also, the overall volume in SETLIST edit mode is at 127.

Has anyone had this issue, or have a suggestion to fix my problem?

Thanks

Update: I fixed the issue by ticking on all of the MIDI Filters for the effected track. I guess I was wrong in thinking they were unnecessary.

I've had the same issue in Combi mode, what's the fix for that?

The issue is it looking for a swell pedal if you don't have one plugged in, it defaults to 64 instead of 127 (CC#4).

So does that mean that to fix it you need to go into the Program and remove the swell pedal setting?
