LED track bar indicator not active when set to EXT

Why doesn’t a track’s vertical LED bar show any activity when it is assigned to “EXT” ?

I have a combination made up of both internal Kronos programs and external tone modules. It seems like the LED track bar only shows activity on tracks assigned to “INT”.

This is misleading and causes me to think that external tone modules are not getting midi information.

Please clarify.

The level of the audio signal of Timbre is being indicated in the Meter. It isn't MIDI.
