exporting sequencer songs to WAV

Post by Luke672 »

Forgive me if this has been asked elsewhere. If it has please point me to the right thread.

Ok so I have finally worked out how to write songs using the sequencer, and I have written a really good song. I finally work out how to transfer songs to a USB drive however it seems like I can only save the songs in midi format. I was hoping to save them in WAVE format so I can then convert them into mp3 and then put them on my myspace site. Can this be done with songs created in the sequencer?

When you create a song, it will be stored in .sng format (basic Korg's format). You can save it to .smf, as standard midi format.

You cannot save it to wave, there is no such option. But you can resample it to wave.

When you have your song ready, go to menu Sampling, make necessary adjustments (to trigger sampler with sequencer start/stop switch, to record to RAM or to MEDIA - for particular settings consult Parameter Guide), then when you have done it, press Sampling REC and START buttons and sampler will go to stand by - when you press sequencer's START/STOP button, it will start playing your song, trigger sampler to start sampling and when the song ends or when you end it by pressing start/stop, sampler will stop also and as a result you'll have a wave file made from your song.
