Hello there peeps from WALES......

Post by lewisjalexander »

Hey guys

Well my name's Lewis. a totally blind musician, composer, studio engineer and long time KORG user from Wales...... north wales..... yes folks. land of sheep and farmers.
Yesterday I became the proud owner of a new OASYS 88 workstation and I have to say I love it.

after having used several korg machines over the years. I just love the relationship between musician and a korg product.

These days, I develop speaking software for the blind to take control of certain studio equipment, that includes the OASYS workstation. a very complicated bit of coding and beta testing but my oasys actually speaks to me so I can happily use the touch screen and all controls.

as a blind guy. yes only 24. getting old hahaha life's always a good thing.

anyhow it's me, my speaking mac, braille display and studio signing off for the night.

have fun all

Welcome to the forum boyo :-) I've chatted with a couple of blind musicians here over the years, so I have a little bit of a handle on some of the challenges you have and techniques you use to work around them. Look forward to chatting with you (I am a fellow Oasys owner and Mac user too).

Daz.
