stick problem!

hi. i;ve had my extreme for aover a year now, and i've been reali careful with the pitch bend stick.

but recently, regradless of wat prog and combi i chose, and watever settings i chose for sw1 and sw2, the pitch goes up by a full step..i.e C to D whenever i push in upwards in the Y(vertical direction), followed by the usual common modulation.

tis reali irritates me.. i duno if its a software problem or the problem with the stick itself.?

anyone have tis same problem b4.?
