Newbie sync questions...

Hi,

I'm using the following setup: Logic 8, TC Studio Konnekt 48 and Kaoss Pad 3 connected to konnekt and loaded as a plug-in in Logic with integrator. This allows to consider Kaoss as an insert in the Logic mixer.

I'm trying to sampling parts of a Logic arrangement, so I've setup in Kaoss the same BPM than in Logic, so at the desired time I start to sampling. But I notice that I normally do not start at beat time. And when I reproduce the sampled part is not in sync with Logic.

How do you recommend to sync the Kaoss with Logic ?
Is it possible to automatically setup the BPM in Kaoss from Logic ?
( in the manual, explains that is necessary to use a MIDI connection from the interfacte to Kaoss or an USB connection to the mac that runs Logic ).

What do you recommend for live performances ?
