Congratulations! :)

I'm sure you'll be pleased with it when you get it.
Now, you have a 4 month waiting time hell!

Mine too. I'm reading the Oasys manuals in the meantime.

Definitely gonna be a hard wait. Likewise, I'll be brushing up on Oasys manuals. Hopefully it won't be that long.

This may be helpful: Stephen Kay created the on-line GUI for OASYS 8). Although it's not complete, you can study the most important pages and the layout.

If I would live in USA, I´d order it now. You don´t realize how many advantages have USA citizens compared to Europe buying a Korg. I was in New York once and I was amazed with the prices of Korg engines. More than 30% cheaper.
100% hardware made. All is done in a Korg M50 internal sequencer. Now updated (7/09/12) at http://www.hispasonic.com/akmon

I understand your excitement! Just contacted one of the sales rep I deal with at my local music store and they're expecting delivery sometime in February...just not sure of the exact date. Of course they don't offer any pre-order discounts. Not sure if I should pre-order with one of the online merchants and wait or grab one when it hit the store in February. :?

Never trust a sales rep! That's a common rule I think.

Hmmmmm February? And it's already Jan. 20th...

But as mentioned... Sales reps.... they'll tell you anything to get the sale.
