Hi: I'm new to this forum, so I'll probably be asking a lot of dumb questions, but it's always nice to get help from new friends and associates.
My question is how to make User Banks 16 and 17 operable. I'd like to name them and begin building a favorites list from all the other banks.
Please let me know if you have insight into this.
Thanks,
Barry Craig

I don't know what you are referring to. 16 and 17? I know of Internal banks A - G and User banks A - G.BARRY CRAIG wrote:My question is how to make User Banks 16 and 17 operable. I'd like to name them and begin building a favorites list from all the other banks.

I'm not sure what they're called but when you use the touch screen, you see all categories: brass, woodwinds, synth, drums, etc. At the bottom of the list is User 16 and 17 which according to the manual can be renamed and used for whatever you want. Have you ever used them?Mike Conway wrote:I don't know what you are referring to. 16 and 17? Hi Barry - you've probably figured this out by now, but, those "User" tabs are not banks. They are Categories. Even sound in every bank can be given a Cateogory. Korg added an extra two categories so you could put your own sounds (or any of the existing ones) in your own categories, if you like.
