Aldan Librarian v.2 : READY for KRONOS !

COMPLETE:
The Aldan Librarian (http://www.aldanmusetools.com/) fully supports all types of data which can be saved to PCG file from Korg KRONOS and allows to perform the following with content of PCG file:
• Open simultaneously up to 10 PCG files of any model and immediately switch between files
• Sort Programs and Combinations by Index, by Name, by Category, by Subcategory, by Bank type(HD-1, Exi)
• View Programs(timbres) used in a Combination
• View how Program reffered by Combinations
• Rename for any type of items : Programs, Combinations, Drum Kits, Wave Sequences , Drum track Patterns Categories and Subcategories
• Reassign Categories and Subcategories for programs and combinations
• Initialize (make free slots) for any type of items
• Assign preferable Categories and Subcategories for InitPrograms and InitCombinations
• Move any type of items Up and Down in the list and from bank to bank
• Transfer any type of items from file to file
• Transfer(copy) Category/Subcategory settings from file to file
• Add new Banks for Programs and Combinations (both HD-1 and EXB/Exi types are supports)
• AUDITION of Programs and Combinations by sending sound dumps from the librarian to a synthesizer via midi-USB

CURRENT LIMITATIONS:
• At present it is not possible to implement the master file feature for Korg KRONOS (in the same manner as it was done in the librarian for M50/M3) due technical reasons.
In order to mitigate this limitation and provide you with a spare storage space for your sounds there is a huge Empty pcg file included in the software setup.
• There is no consistency control between Set List Performances and programs and combinations used in the performances. After moving/transfering/initializing programs and combinations you need to adjust Set List Performances in the Aldan Librarian or in KRONOS synthesizer using build-in editor.
• Karma GE data chunk is not supported by the librarian and would not be supported because it is more convenient to use original Karma software for manupulating with content of this chunk.

FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS:
There could be done many improvements (like Drag-n-Drop, Copy-Paste, Quick Search, Filtering by banks, printing, Master file, Consistency control for SetList Performances, etc. ) and I will be happy to invest my time and expertise in further development if you invest in the project.

Btw, you probably must have analyzed the checksum values in the PCG ... Can we combine our knowledge (altough it is possible you already know everything, assuming you can read/write any kind of Kronos PCG file).

This is an extremely useful program for fast editing and bank organizing: multiple times faster, and with much better overview, than doing it directly at the Kronos!

Only one things doesn't seem to work properly:
Program/Combi relation.
Check for example Program I -A-015 G.Duke Mark I Phaser EP
Reference shown: Combi I-B-035 Gettin' My Groove On, Timbre 1
But Timbre 1 of that combi shows I-F-015 Dreaming sweaper.

Everything else seems to work like a charm.

Guys,

Thanks to increadible support from BillW and BurningBush new version of AL v2.0.15 finally works fine with Audition and DrumMaker. These were two last features which I was planning to implement for Kronos.

Another good news for you is that the price of AL reduced to level just to support existance of my site.

Guys, that is VB6 application. There is no direct way to port it for MAC.

Very useful! Unfortunately the program (2.0.15) crashes if you want to edit a Setlist entry that uses a User Combi (U-A to U-G).
