KP3 Banks won't stay in sync? Pleeeeeease help!

Post by SU7A7S »

Hi all,

first time poster, but been lurking round here for the past 2 weeks.

i've searched this forum quite a bit, and seem to have concluded that essentially there is no means of saving KP3 banks and having them recall in sync with each other, either in the KP3 editor or on SD cards, unless i were to edit them in a DAW and then export back, or by some miracle of inhuman precision i were able to strike the bank button to record on precisely the first beat of the loop.

can anyone just confirm that this is indeed the case? then at least i can resign myself to dealing with the issue and get on with things.

I'm upgraded to 2.0 on the editor and have the newest firmware on the KP3.

anyone? :D

Why couldn't you just hit ALIGN? Then the banks would be on the first beat

If you're on 2.0 just make sure, too, that you're on loop type 3.

Hey there, thanks for your response man.

I was getting the impression Allign just lined up the start of the sample with the beat you hit it on, and therefore if I had started said sample off beat I could not manouvere it with any more precision than that. So while it would be approximatly in the right region it would still sound way off especially when all 4 banks are alligned in this fashion. Maybe I'm missing something, is there a way to line things exactly after recording and loading them at a later date? Or do you mean hitting allign before recording?
