From what I've read, the difference is that the Musikant has software for the German market, in addition to the normal software.

Hi,
the Pa3x Musikant has different Styles to attend the requirement of the
Middle-European Market.
These styles (and the pads too ) are copyprotected !!!
In addition to the special styles the Musikant has additional sounds
as well.
The 61 version of the Musikant has already a built in HD.

The hardware should be, as far as I know, the same as the Pa3x International. :)

Quite right capricorn. This means you can't edit the styles (and pads) to your liking, although you can adjust volume levels of the style parts. In the German forum there is a lot of discussion on this decision from Korg.

Correct, exact same hardware, only different color (Musikant = silver, International = black).

You can load all international styles (from PA3 int.) into a musikant-PA3,
but not vice versa.

Does anyone know if all the styles are copyright protected? I mean styles which can be found in International too?

yes, all the styles in the pa3 Musikant are copyprotected.
Also when they implemented in the PA3 International.
You may only edit the imported PA3 int-Styles.
So you have some double-styles.
One editable an one not.
Best regards from germany
