Sequencer keeps changing oscillators in external module!!!

Post by baltobob »

Hello Forums...so I've hit another wall that I just CANNOT figure out. My M50 (master) keeps "turning off" the first 2 oscillators of my Juno-G IF I am on that channel in the sequencer and I hit "Locate" or basically manually switch to a measure of a song. I guess what's happening is that these actions are sending "reset" messages to the Juno-G. I've tried changing patches to see if it was in the programming of the patch itself but it happens with every patch so I know it's not within the patch. I've tried the Juno-G midi filter and I've tried all variations of the Korg midi filter and it still happens even with EVERY single action disabled. The only thing that keeps it from happening is to have all controllers, etc. turned OFF in Global mode, but who wants to have no controllers on their patches?? The only thing that I can see that might be the culprit is in the KORG sequencer MIDI Filter 3 there is a "Enable Waveform SysEX" option that even when I turn it off resets to ON every time I hit locate or manually change the measure. Could this be the culprit, and if so, how do I KEEP it disabled?? So frustrating because I'm using a sound that depends on key velocity and the bender for nuance but the oscillators that add that nuance keep getting turned off every time I hit the sequencer "locate" button...ugh!!!

M50 problems

Post by mikesrs »

Hi,

There's probably a problem in the program of your JUNO-G. Try to disable to midi filter of your JUNO-G and operate the M50 after that turn on them one by one and see if the problem is still there. You need to adjust this stuff in order to avoid the turning off of your device.

Thanks
