good idea, although i'm going to select one of the engines due to length of the video.
But a filter pattern, pitch pattern and volume pattern (gating) are good ideas to show.
Also an explanation of the AMS parameter in the step sequencer (the one that turns green) and how the AMS mixer relates to the Step sequencer
the AMS parameter will probably be explained if i got some time left in the video, although i consider this as an advanced feature which is hard to understand for most beginners.
The AMS mixer feature will be explained later this year in a dedicated tutorial for the AMS features. However this will be an advanced series due to the complexity it can bring when doing the tricks i have in mind.
...and if I may request a future tutorial that makes sense of the patch panel of the MS20. Cheers! Your contributions to Kronos users are very much appreciated.
yes, this is high on my tutorial to do list, but this will also be an advanced users tutorial, so probably later this year.
the advanced tutorials will be quite complicated because i assume a basic knowledge of synth programming and a basic knowledge from the features that the kronos has. That way i can focus the tutorials on the more complex things the kronos has to offer and the tips and tricks to achieve rather interesting things.
In the advance series i'm thinking of things like:
- using acappella's in sync with the combis
- using drumloops and create chop effects on them
- creating combi setups with lot's of drum performance tricks instead of 1 drumtrack
- advances programming techniques and much more.
- programming examples for specific styles on the kronos like: dubstep, dance, r&b, ambient, rock, etc.
if i only had more time ...
