how to tweak sax sound

Hi, can someone teach me how to tweak a sax sound in kronos, i want it to make more fat, or realistic sounds without breathcontroller

That's a tall order. Remember, you are working with a ROMpler when it comes to the sax sound. Look at layering and adding some subtle FX. Vector Joystick might be a good option too.

Actually, since it's a sampler and not a rompler, you could add entirely new saxes through sample libraries. Also, have you tried the EXS3 and EXS4 expansions that are on the SSD? They're brass and woodwinds and I believe there may be an extra sax or two in there.

Ultimately, as with most sampled sounds, a lot of it is in the playing technique. A saxophone player can do a lot more with a tone than just hold it, true, but you can get somewhat closer by thinking very carefully about phrasing, note length and small pitchbends.

I stand corrected. What I was getting at is it's samples as opposed to accoustic or physical modeling.
