What's the purpose/need for the Korg MIDI driver on a Mac?
I remember having some trouble with my previous Mac (or perhaps with trying to use some plugin to control the Kronos) when I tried to use that stuff and had to get rid of it.
Is there any reason why the Korg editor/librarian can't just work with the standard USB interface drivers on Mac?

Purpose of Korg MIDI driver on a Mac?
KronosX, Eigenharp Alpha, Roland AX-1, Roland A800Pro (4), RME UCX (2), MaxMSP, soft synths from Native Instruments, AAS, Arturia, G-Force, RealLabs, Korg Legacy and others
I don't know if there's an issue --- that why I'm asking the question.
Last time I installed drivers from Korg, about a year ago, I had much grief on my laptop and had to uninstall them to get my laptop to behave again.
I plug MIDI devices directly into USB ports all the time without the need for special drivers.

It may recognize it, but not sure it will respond correctly. I have the korg drivers installed on my mac and never had a problem with them.dhjdhj wrote:I don't know if there's an issue --- that why I'm asking the question.

The Nord Sound Manager, for example, which has similar functionality for Nord products, does not require special USB drivers on a Mac
