My Kronos is Freaking out....

Post by plisken »

hello everyone.

I need some help! My Kronos today just started changing patches all by itself. Its all random when it does it and how fast. There is nothing connected into it other then the power cable and its still doing it. Tried turning it and back on, still doing it. Not sure what to do but I need to get it fixed fast! Any help is much appreciated !

Is it possible there is some oil residue from your fingers or some other dirt on the touch screen?

Is it possible that one of the increment buttons is stuck, or that dust got in the value slider?

[Edit: added second question.]

if it's not then this is a unique error I have not heard on here.

I'm no expert but here's an idea not 100% sure how to do this but you could try turning the midi program change off for each sound don't think there is a global and then see if it still doing it just as an interim work around someone else may know how to implement that.
