Expression Pedal - Silent
Hi Guys, new to the Kronos... trying to setup my Korg XVP-10 as an expression pedal, I want it to do different things for different combi's.... But when I currently plug it in it's making everything go silent!!
i.e. PIANO & STRING - I want it to bring up and down the volume of the strings
CLAV - I want to assign it to the Wha Wha effect
Is this possible and can anyone give some insight as to how to get it done???
Cheers

You can change the controller assignment in the global menu. For per-channel volume control, use CC#11, expression. For assigning to various fx, use CC#04, foot pedal.
If you want to have many different functions you need to set it to CC#04 but it does mean you have to program it independently for every program. Using CC#11 has the benefit of working as switchable volume by default, but it's a bitch to have it do anything else.

Any Control pedal needs a 3 conductor TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) connector on BOTH ends. Two conductor TS (Tip-Sleeve) connectors are generally for switch pedals. Many control pedals come with the cable hard wired at the pedal end (like the Yamaha FC-7) so you wouldn't have to worry about it.
