An Invitation extended to all Korgies !!!!

Post by keyboard »

Hi
Its Ron and Dave from OldiesTunes. We ask you to visit our site. There are over a 1000 files there and growing bigger every day !!

www.oldiestunes.com

We are focusing on the the "Oldies" such as the Everly Brothers, Troggs, Rolling Stones, Johnny and the Hurricanes, Ray Price and many many more.

You will get a lead sheet in the original key ( and if not in the key of C, we will give you another lead sheet transposed to C ) an mp3 which is NOT the original but the recorded audio outs of my keyboard.

So when you want to learn a new ( oldies ) tune, you download and print the lead sheets and also download the mp3, then play back the mp3 and follow along with your lead sheet , note for note. An easy way to learn a song.

Free admission to the site...although it really would be great if you register and join us.. Oldiestunes will complement Korg Forums very nicely....

Hi Ron & Dave,
Just tried a couple of songs from your site and I must say I am really impressed.
Downloaded sheet music , midi and mp3 and all worked perfectly.
One song even had lyrics in the midi file and are visible with the Korg lyrics button.
I've only tried the 2 songs so far (10cc's "I'm Not in Love" and Garfunkels "Bright Eyes"). Both were mixed nicely and sounded quite good just with the GM voices - can't wait to try swapping in a few Korg Factory sounds.
I sure will be back soon for a better look at the site.
Your hard work on putting this together is really appreciate.
Best regards,
John

John & Pete

Thanks for the excellent review ( what makes it more special is who wrote them...Pete and Reuben are one of the more respected members here )... Dave and I have put in a lot of effort getting this Site started and when we read your thoughtful comments, it feels great.
Our hope is to have a huge database of resources that will have you coming back for more !!!!

Ron
