I need assistance on how to and what to install as far as the current OS on my Kronos X. I downloaded the current OS. First should I be able to just download it off of the Korg support site without logging in? If Yes then I did DL it onto my Mac, however when I try to unzip the file it will not allow me to do so. It keeps coming up with a error message that says " unable to expand " KRONOS"_2_1_2.tar" into "DESKTOP" (error 1 Operation not permitted,)
Any help would be very much appreciated. Cheers....John

sounds like a Mac problem. Maybe you should try downloading it to a new empty folder on your Mac. Maybe that will work. I just did that on my PC and it worked without a problem.

Or, being that you are on a Mac, it seems your permissions settings may be corrupted, in which case you should run Disk Utility and have it repair your permissions. I can't give you an entire tutorial on how to do that, so if you don't know what I'm talking about, google it.
The other simple thing to try is to move the downloaded file from whatever folder it is in to some other folder, and try unencrypting it again. If you get the same thing, see above.

Do try the suggestions already given...
Just my thoughts on this....
It may be related to the archive utility on the mac,it's a known problem for some users.
A basic check with other zip files could confirm its proper function.
If the archive utility doesn't work, there are several workarounds,I've included just the one as a starting point, but you can find many more on the internet etc.
