Hi,
I was wondering how could we support our colleagues. Well, sharing patches for those who dont know how to program sounds is a good start.
I will do it as soon I learn how to save them in my computer and how to load them (I dont know how to do it yet, I really have to read the manual!!, but you know, sometimes we are lazies)

You want to share patches you want to create, before having read the manual?
Just one hint for organising your KK sounds:
- download the latest midi driver and install it
- download the KK librarian software and install it
- connect the KK to your PC or Mac via USB
Everything else is nearly self-explaining: you can backup and organize your sounds to your liking.
One more thing: if you want to overwrite the 200 factory presets besides the available 100 User Slots, you just have to change the settings in the Global menu to allow overwriting. _________________ Kronos 73 - Moog Voyager RME - Moog LP TE - Behringer Model D - Prophet 6 - Roland Jupiter Xm - Rhodes Stage 73 Mk I - Elektron Analog Rytm MkII - Roland TR-6s - Cubase 12 Pro + Groove Agent 5 |

well, in fact I have created some nice sounds without read the manual (they are already created), I think the synth is very intuitive, but I need to read the manual to see details (how to save patches in my computer, etc.)
Working on it.
But the main topic is clear, if somebody wants t share something, it is welcomed. |

Great to see you step into it fast!
I won't download the patches, because I refuse to register at a new file upload service every other day. But congratulations to your efforts! Have fun going on and reading the manual! _________________ Kronos 73 - Moog Voyager RME - Moog LP TE - Behringer Model D - Prophet 6 - Roland Jupiter Xm - Rhodes Stage 73 Mk I - Elektron Analog Rytm MkII - Roland TR-6s - Cubase 12 Pro + Groove Agent 5 |

Box.com is actually a fairly popular way of sharing files. It works very well.
Do you have some other preference?
I'll be posting some patches soon myself. |

Why not share it through the Download section of KorgForums? _________________

It's less than obvious where that is. I don't see a download section at all, and the forum FAQ doesn't mention this. |
