I can confirm you can do it using Time Slice in sampling mode on the Kronos, either by using automatic slice detection, or setting the sensitivity to 0 and manually using the divide button to create equal sized slices.
This will create a single multi sample with each slice mapped to a key. As it’s a single multisample, it’s unfortunstely not ideal for wave sequencing, so you’ll need to create seperate multisamples to be used in a wave sequence.

Hey Charles, how are you getting OSC SYNC in the HD1 engine?CharlesFerraro wrote:Wave Sequencing? Granular? Wavetable? Who knows. Yet again HD-1 does a lot more than you would expect.

A moment to reflect... HD-1 can officially do:
-real PWM
-real osc sync
-real granular/wavetable synthesis
This is a sampler engine we're talking about doing way more than a sampler should!

Hey psionic, I go over it in this video:psionic311 wrote:Hey Charles, how are you getting OSC SYNC in the HD1 engine?

It's pretty neat! I actually thought of a way you could add a sync effect to something like a vocal sample using a technique similar to this with a granular synthesizer. And even have it play polyphonically! Maybe one day I'll make a tutorial on it but I'm a little bogged down with projects at the moment.
Thanks so much for confirming that, SeedyLee. The Kronos FTP is probably the best way to go about doing something like this in the future.SeedyLee wrote:I can confirm you can do it using Time Slice in sampling mode on the Kronos, either by using automatic slice detection, or setting the sensitivity to 0 and manually using the divide button to create equal sized slices.
