sequencer/record/backing sequencer.. fills up quick !!

Hi.. I have been doing the quick record with some drums piano, a pad or so... and at 58 measures it freezes up. I'm assuming I used up all the available notes to make a sequence. I did that a couple of times. Is that right? It doesn't matter too much, I'm just checking to see if my keyboard might be ...

Music Technology, off Braddock Road in VA. Prototypes, in MD (north Silver Spring?). Don't know of any GC doing in-house keyboard repairs -- guitar guts, yes; synths, no. Around here you can expect to be without your in-the-shop gear for upwards of 4 weeks unless you pay extra for expedited repair ...

Drums (e.g. kits) consist of the specific multi samples in a specific order, that is written and saved using the kit edit functions under the global menu and the drum kit programs that use them -- two parts. - - - - - - ? - clarification: you mentioned Karma, which uses GE data, not RPPR. Extreme ...

RPPR patterns like tons of AMMO on EXTREME< BUT NO FIT

The EXB boards and matching RPPR patterns have some great drum riffs you can use to build your songs.... but no way to use them on EXTREME. Those are some really nice drum riffs, if you can call them riffs, that go with the EXB boards and they are useless in the EXTREME. I have loaded lots of kits ...

EXB 03 and 04??? anybody get RPPR to run on Korg Extreme?

Hi.. I have had the Karma and the Korg Extreme for some time now. I had the Karma first and I have the Dance EXtreme and the Future Loop Construction Expansion boards in the Karma. I find that I can open the RPPR .sng files in the Korg Extreme, but not all the multisamples are in the Extreme. Its ...

Thanks SanderXpander... thanks a lot.. I'll follow that and see if I can get them organized to work right. I have had that Karma a long time and right at the beginning I made some cool stuff with it, and now that I'm trying to reduce my gear.. I find that I really like that feature of the RPPR ...

You can't install those cards in your Extreme. There are no slots for them. Did you force them into the SIMM card slots in the top left end of your Extreme??! If so turn off the power immediately and take them out before you damage something permanently. Those slots are for sample RAM expansions ...

thanks very much but yes that's what I did. I was asking around about it before I did it and I got no replies. And they seemed to fit. On the kORG BOX when I bought the expansion boards it says for Triton , Triton Pro, Triton Pro-x, Karma, so I thought the Extreme included it. now I'm a bit ticked ...

how to trigger RPPR patterns with Extreme?

Hi.. I had a Karma with a couple of expansion boards #3 and #4. I dont' know if I had them set up correctly, but they worked great with the .sng files for triggering the RPPR patterns. Now I installed the cards in my Korg Extreme, but when I load the songs its using PCG from something else, so ...

Ok I got it... the expansion boards DO go in any Triton and the Karma. but I'm having trouble getting the PCGs to line up. I had to download the SNG files that are actually triggers of RPPR to play the drum grooves.
So I'm going to make a new post with that in the title.

EXB Dance extreme and Future Loop construction on Korg Extre

HI.. I have been , boo hoo, getting ready to reduce the hardware collection. I have the Korg Karma with Future Loop construction and Dance Extreme expansion boards. The thing I like about them was that I can trigger drum riffs in sequencer mode. (is there anything else they are good for?) Then I ...

my question is about the sensitivity of the sustain pedal and calibrating it. PA2, LED, making a micro switch... i can't say I thought of rewiring my PA588 and improvising any parts. So you came out of it with a dead keyboard. I don't know if I'm going to try to put any of these suggestions to the ...

PA 588 sustain pedal

Hi.. I have a PA500 and PA588. My PA588 is fired up right in front of me right now and I have been meaning to bring this up for a long time. The last time I was about to write about the sustain pedal I re-calibrated it and it seemed to be better, but not as sensitive as I wish. Anyway I didn't write ...

Thank You Alland...

Thanks a lot Alland... very cool . solved the problem. Yeah this is a great piece of equipment, but you really have to work with it to know all the features and be able to get around in it quickly. I have had Pa500 PA588 a while. I sold my PA500 and got the 588, but then bought a PA500 again ...
