I had this setup for a while, and its very annoying due to the fact that you can't use any knobs or the touchpad without it changing the BSII via midi CCs. If Korg implemented proper settings for turning off midi CC send and program change, this wouldn't be a problem. This could be done on the old ...

Groove Templates send midi velocity!
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but the groove templates on the new Electribes send Midi velocity. I just tested it by sending a part with a groove template applied to my Bass Station II, and both the amp and mod velocity are controllable. Pretty great, considering the motion sequences ...

Just get a conductive ink pen and recoat the bottoms of the buttons. The conductive material wears down over time and stops triggering well

Roll on the E2 / ES2
I use the roll feature, as well as the arp touch pad, for on the fly snare fills quite a bit on my ESX. Is there any way to do this on the new ES2? You can't really use the gate arp for this on the ES2 because its easy to trigger it off beat. The ESX was always on beat, no matter when your finger ...

I'm surprised nobody seems to complain about the lack of instant key transpose function that was available on holding the solo button on the old series. Okay you can access it via the menu and shift by semitones but its nowhere near as spontaneous and musical as transposing the whole arrangement by ...

My wish list: • Proper arpeggiator • Proper transpose function (preferably via external midi keyboard) • 8 bars • send midi cc from motion sequences • The ESX's gate arp always triggered in time, the ES2's touchpad triggers as soon as your finger hits it, then plays in sync. This can sound sloppy if ...

I'm going to use a Midipal to send arps to the ES2. I also might pick up an Arpie: https://www.tindie.com/products/hotchk155/arpie-midi-arpeggiator-kit-1/ you have no idea how upset i am at the lack of arps. my music is constructed entirely on the concept of arps! Like it's to a point where if it ...
