Because Korg has stopped paying him to promote the E2s. It is funny in a way that we hear nothing from Korg and have someone like James Pullen for news and rumours. Clearly Korg dropped the ball this time around. My question is, what now? Is the era of the all in one groove box over or is Korg gonna redeem theirselves with a box that can rival the Elektrons? It seems to me that they have a chance to learn a lot from this failure. What do you guys think?

Not having a Song Mode is a step backward... No matter how you paint the picture, it stays the same. Korg needs to fix that among other things.

Oh and by the way, I own the E2.

Yeah. I think there are a lot of us Electribe fans that are let down because we were expecting an upgraded EMX-1. Thanks for the vid, it's not really legit though because there's no proof that this is the ES2 alone, or at all for that matter. Korg being so tight lipped about this product isn't a good sign. Raising the cost is a tricky move because now the product has to live up to it, only adding more pressure ...

I agree, the Electribe2 lacks the personality of the older models. I'm not going to return mine though. I'm gonna go with the Elektrons and try to integrate the E2 in a supportive role. Korg dropped the ball with this unit. They would be better off abandoning it and going back to the drawing board ...
