serious problem with my ES2

So first off, let me say that I contacted Korg with an email on this issue on Friday, and was promptly responded to with a note saying my email was being sent to the support folks. Considering it is a holiday weekend, I am not surprised I haven't heard back yet, and I know I will, but I guess I just ...

Very interesting! So would this card be a good choice, for a faster sample export and start up? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sandisk-ultra-plus-32gb-sdhc-class-10-uhs-1-memory-card-black-gray-red/3142553.p?id=1219088217648&skuId=3142553 Also, I got 99 seconds of sampling time with a 2GB SD, but I was ...

Has anyone figured out how to eliminate the click that happens at the end of a continuously looped sample? I tried messing with the start and end times and can't get any good results. You can get close with the filters and delays, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something? When you prepped the ...

So this is the result of my impersonation of a handy person. The beauty of it is that it cost me nothing, being made of cardboard, duct tape, foam, and string, and it took about ten minutes to whip together. This allows me to throw the ES2 in my backpack or lap top bag without having to worry about ...

"Media files missing" in Ableton after exporting f

Hi there - I tried to get a project from my ES2 into Ableton for the first time this evening, and overall it was a pretty easy and quick process, which is great, BTW. I saved the files to my computer and dinked around with the project in Ableton and then saved it. I came back to it later and now ...

The ES2 has a waveform setting for the audio in, but I think this just means that as you press the pad the audio in comes through the ES2's output. Actually that happens all the time, so long as you have the input gain up enough to hear it, so disregard that bit. I will have to test that to ...

Noob question for you guys - How can I set up the ES2 to only send out midi clock info? No notes, no program changes, just the clock. I can't seem to find any such function in the menus. Thanks! In the Global Parameters, there's a MIDI send filter. Turn it to Short + Program and it will turn notes ...

I am new here, and also new to sampling - but I just got my sampler two days ago, and so far I have been plugging my Novation BS 2 into the input for sampling, as well as a nifty Marantz cassette recorder/player. I think I need to go to some thrift stores tomorrow and find some more cassettes...
