I don't get why they're not available? M1 was implemented, so why not the others?

Everyone's going to have their fans & their critics, all music is subjective & what works for one, does not necessarily work for others. But you are basing their whole music on whether it is a hit or not. There are numerous music tracks out there that have been hits but are definitely not for me ...

The problem you got, is giving users access to these sounds who do not actually own Korg Gadget or is this a personal project?

I'm on a works PC, so cannot access Facebook. But yes, it's true and is reversible, there are videos on there by the guy performing the revert. The hacked OS file is available to download on the page as well, somebody should link to it for those interested. Don't think it has been attempted with the ...

Where are the samples stored? I've jail broke my iPad to get to the system root folder, checked out Korg Gadget app and cannot find London, Bilbao, Abu Dhabi or Marseille samples anywhere? I have found a Drums.bin file which I'm assuming are the London samples, but I cannot open the file. I wanted ...

ipolysix & monopoly in Gadget

So I accessed the Korg Gadget folder while browsing the system root of my iPad and there are two folders with similar content to the other modules including Darwin.
Hopefully the iPolysix & Monopoly modules are gonna be added in the next update? Here's hoping eh!

Yeah I think you just got to be aware of what you can and can't do on the new electribes. All hardware have some feature missing or something is not implemented well, even the expensive Elektron gear have their critics. I think there's enough information on the board for a person to make an educated ...

How do you loop slices? I went into the menu and the only option I can see is to loop the original sample itself, how do I access the slice properties?

Cheers

Thanks I didn't know that. Well I opened the e2sSample.all in the electribe sample manager and no additional slices were part of the slots, so looks like the ES2 is just adding slicing data to the original sample. So if you don't want to import a ton of hits into multiple slots then bunch them into ...

ES2 sample memory

So I got round to slicing up a .wav of Kicks. Worked pretty well, but I have a question and wonder if anyone knows the answer or can tell me how to check? So, after slicing the .wav on the ES2, I have access to the multiple Kicks, but does each slice count towards a sample memory slot? Or is it just ...

Yeah, so I see... It might end up being a bit pricey to fully load that baby.
Although the original price for the unit alone was near £1k

I'm very much a visual learner, no matter how many times I read something until I see it, it just doesn't sink in.

The Step Jump trick totally makes sense now, cheers for the vid matey!

The EMU were expandable as well? you could load a few expansion boards into it. I seen one on ebay go for around £180 recently, was interested in going for it, but I don't want to get much gear.

You lose most of the synth options on the ES2, I think there's only a handful to choose and the rest are samples, so if your not bothered about the synth sounds, and prefer to use your own samples then the ES2 would make sense for ya.
