I own both machines and I am working on a perfect system that uses both units in conjunction. The new Electribe Sampler has a very nice sound; the ESX doesn't even compare. Nonetheless, the new units have limitations that are basically inexcusable.. 4-bars, no pattern chaining, etc. To make a long ...

Emx vs E2

hello, i want some new gear , and my eyed catch the new electribe 2. I already have the ESX I can get the emx for quite a low price. and then there is the new e2, it seems dope. Thanks for everyone's feedback so far. With korg releasing a sequel on the electribes after 10 years. I would at least expect that it its better then the original electribes Yes, ideally I would like to try them out both at the same time. But say for example, the ES2 turns out to be a really good ...

Esx verdicts thus far vs Electribe Sampler

Hello, im very curious to a comparison, with these two devices. Preferably, from people who have/had both. The electribe sampler seem alot better on the effects part, which is a real plus for me. Also , it has 16 melodic parts. where the esx-1 only has melodic parts. The scale function catches my ...

Anyone know if the new electribe is the same? You can test it out, if you have a ableton live lite or above. You can download the free beta 9.2 from ableton. I suggest you use a single cycle waveform for this. The Tuner device only picks up those, and (high pitched) drums I did not have any serials ...

there is a pitch chart in the manual, which is right when you want to pitch it up, but the manual is wrong when you pitch it down, They had the values wrong, ive came to the conclusion, when you want to pitch it down,, you need these values: -07 , -10 etc. etc.(see above)

Say you have rootnote that is an B, the concept remains the same and you still need these values when you want to change notes. + 6 , +9 etc.
-07 , -10 etc. etc.

I used a single cycle waveform, which was exactly 675 notes long. Which is a C note, according to abletons tuner.

So you guys are saying new electribes actually load your arrangements made with your electribe perfectly into ableton? When I want to publish a song I made with my esx, ive tried recording it in ableton, but there is always a annoying delay, which makes further arranging with the audio very ...

Slice korg esx.

hello, when ever I want to slice some nice pads. They are generally not the lenght I want. Some of them I want to be 16 notes long, and some shorter. When time slicing you have the option to slice 52 parts and after that you can choose the lenght 16 / 24/ or 32. But when ever I use 16, the sound is ...

Ok thanks for that, I always thought, it was the decay you would hear much longer, but now actually paying attention to it. The sound faded away= releae What Im also unsure of, which particulair setting, you want for release, decay, what ever its called in the manual) And which one to use for gate ...
