Thanks so much, this really helps understand these series of keyboards. Yes quite possibly this synth sounds stellar without too much manipulation. The youtube videos are sometimes recorded with an Iphone it doesn't make it justice. For multi-band sound maximizing, I had this done on an album and it ...

Thanks for your kind reply. Lots of valuable information. Possibly the only reason for the existence of Maxx on the Pa4x is for it's intent on actual live use as a complete sound source / OMB. Whereas the 700/1000 are perhaps meant for smaller/studio/home uses with the integrated speakers and a DAW ...

Thanks for your replies.

Yes the eq is one thing but the maxx is another..

The fact that a simple maxx is implemented only in the 4x still raises questions.

It makes me feel like the 1000 is not suitable for live..

Question on MAXX

Hi, I am planning on purchasing a Korg PA and would like to know how useful is the Maxx eq in your everyday life. In all honesty I am looking at PA1000 but felt the final mix from the demos a bit flat (sound quality still really good). I have asked around for some opinions and would like to hear ...

How much content in Krome EX also in the original Triton, M1

I have Triton and M1 plugins and there are some similar sounds between the two. It's like the best from M1 is also in the Triton (I believe).

How much is this is also on the Krome EX?

Thanks

Similarities in ROM samples with Krome EX?

Hello does anyone know if there is an overlap or similarities in the basic samples/sounds between the WS and the Krome EX? Looking back, the M1 and original Wavestation were very different. But in todays world, what is it between the two (original wavestation samples aside)? If anyone has experience ...

Thanks so much for your response. Yes I had deleted my previous post because I finally found the list in the manual (english manual is at the very bottom of the Korg page..took me a while to find it). So I have the sounds list this is very good. I believe every multisample is distinct which is also ...

PA700 factory sounds

Hello! I am looking at purchasing a PA700. In my past arranger experience, it seems that many sounds are actually the same sounds with different settings. It this the case with PA700? I am intrigued by the quantity of sounds that are displayed but can't help wonder if all of them are individual or ...

Distortion and tube drive - gain staging and volume jump

Hello! I am trying to find a way to balance out the above effects. There is a volume jump when using them which is somewhat a normal if you consider these as separate FX pedals. It is still hard to place them into presets because of possible volume jumps (the factory presets don't have any drive for ...

E2 output sound colored? Seems awefully bright...

Hello, I love the E2 even tough I also use a DAW and HW synths. One thing I am noticing is that the default sounds are super bright in general to the point that it is causing me ear fatigue. I am trying workarounds such as some LPF on the MFX which really seems to help although I lose the MXF for ...

Can the E2S overdub (multiple passes) a sample recording?

Can I record a sample part and over dub something on top then becoming another part altogether but without using more sample space? Thanks!

ES2 audio in DAC quality

Hi! Just curious about the DAC quality those boxes? On the input side specifically while recording are we assuming the quality to be acceptable to make it into a finished product after bouncing the results into the SD card? Thanks!

So to recap things the only issue at this point when going E2 to ES2 is that some of the slots will bear names from the E2 patches..? That's it? Thanks

ES2 step edit : gate lenght and note tie - new feature?

HI! I just found out about those options in the step edit function and wonder if they were there before the latest update? I mean I was asking about how to make long notes on a previous post and the only way was to use the recorder and hold the note. Now the tie and gate lenght certainly bring an ...
