Rob, thanks. Not sure sure what you mean by 'loading the OS in the stand alone backup' Do you mean following the procedure in the forum link you included? I do not have any user data on the PA800 at all as I have only had it a few weeks so what do I need to do? Have you any idea why the new sounds ...

Thanks to MrKorg for your reply. The keyboard is a PA800. I have reloaded both the OS and Musical Resources and its still the same. The files were unzipped in accordance with Rob Sherratts instructions to me on my posting from last week. I have definitely used the PA800 software. The loading process ...

OS v2.01 Drawbars sound wrong / can't find new performances.
I have recently loaded OS v2.01 and musical resources from the Korg website. Did have problems at first as I didnt realise about unzipping files (see my previous note). I have followed instructions exactly and it seemed to have loaded ok. The screen has the new OS 2.01 picture on it. The first thing ...

Thanks to umanid & Rob for replies. I didn't appreciate that the files had to be 'unzipped' or 'unpacked' the Korg instructions are very basic and dont tell you to do this, guess they presume everyone is a computer buff. Anyway I have followed Rob's instructions and am pleased to say that the files ...

OS 2.01 Files Not found when trying to load - help!
I am trying to load the OS 2.01 updates on my PA800. I have copied them on to a USB stick and followed the instructions, ie. insert stick, hold Intro1 button down and power up. When I select USB-F the screen is blank as though there is nothing on the USB stick. The files are definitely there - I ...

Faves / Saving to SD card
Hi muLperi, seems you are having exactly the same problems as me. See my entry: paulc Wed Sept 05 'TR Saving user combinations. Help required' you're lucky, I only got 1 reply. I edited a combi to save to SD card and it saved every single Combi & program to the card. It also seems that when you load ...
