just sounds like he's recording / overdubbing a loop. 'overdubbing' is basically when you have your loop playing and recording at the same time, so the new sounds that you play get recorded and added into the loop as you go. so i guess you'd just need an audio app or a VST that has that capability ...

1. click on Midi Learn button in ableton 2. click on your loop/clip in session view 3. press pad on padkontrol - u should see a midi note number appear over the loop 4. click on Midi Learn button to exit midi learn mode now when u press your pad, it should trigger the loop. if this doesn't work ...
