I'm afraid Italy has to start planning now for something else. If these specs are true, it doesn't deserve $1. It sounds nothing other than a PA2X PRO with 256 MB RAM in standard state. Instead of naming it an Elite, they name it a PA3X or whatever in a bid to snap up new customers.

Can you at least tell us if there are current/future plans for an OS upgrade before some of us consider the new model?

My point is that once a new product is released the older model will no longer be subject for OS upgrades. There are specialist oriental keyboards: PA500 oriental.

Neither is the M3 an oriental keyboard.

We sure will miss his expertise, let's face it everything we know about the PA and M3 series both in terms of software and hardware has come directly from him. I have a feeling he will still be around.
