Got pissed off of trying different things to get it going so I put it in the microwave for 15mins and threw it at my next door neighbour frisbie style..... lol Not really, i bashed it hard straight on the top of the encoder and its working again..... Main Encoder Not Responding? padKontrol

Hi All, Had anyone ever had their main encoder on their padKontrol stop responding? I havent knocked it or anything, just seemed to stop responding when I turn it... Ive reinstalled the drivers but no luck. My EMX has had more use and they are fine! :cry: Im hoping someone says it software related ...

get yourself a copy of cakewalk rapture as a demo, it will come with VERY impressive waveforms and a ton of them that you can feed your electribe. You will have to pitch them up I believe two octaves tho so they fit the esx/emx note layout. Sweet Ruso, gona check the demo out now ;) Hey Ruso, I ...

I tried to get ableton to talk to my FB-01 using system exclusive for about a week once. Got no where. Now scared of anything past sending midi note data lol

I even had to emulate an Atari at one stage. Even that didnt work!

Sweet tip Setsonics thanks. Moving the slider down and back up while finger is on the ribbon fader is cool also, as you mention it traverses from gated to full and can sound pretty mad with the right sound. I'm all about freesound. I have a few machinedrum samples in my esx that i got from there. Yeah I like how you can see the waveform before you download and can easily preview the sound. Still looking for that perfect waveform for smooooooth ribbon lead... Maybe its my programming thats in question ...

Thanks Zalo. I'm really looking for long sustained saw's and the like, rather than loops. The Ribbon Fader works well with the filters and effects for lead sounds, but I havent found a tone (e.g sustained dual saw) which works really well yet. Like on the youtube url.
