I think Korg should have just gone with a desktop module option or 61 key full size synth option right out the gate with their new synths. As they are right now, it's a bit too cramped for "players" and a bit too cumbersome to use as a dedicated module. Many would disagree - I know I do. Wavestate ...

NCM's just another networking standard; a different way for Wavestate to talk to the host computer.

You can switch Wavestate between RNDIS and NCM on the "Utility->MIDI and USB" page.

I'm puzzled as to why there's a need for yet another Wavestate facebook group.
That makes three now - it's actually kinda annoying...

I think a fair few people have commented on Reverb Send being a valuable feature - but even the architecture is entirely software-based, that doesn't mean that it's necessarily easy or practical to implement this feature. I agree that it's desirable however, and could be implemented in a way that ...

Yeah, this threw me on day one of owning wavestate when I was figuring out how it works. The problem seems to manifest itself when you have a crossfade between two steps that is longer than the duration of the second step. On 'Normal' and faster speeds - wavestate seems to truncate the crossfades if ...

Import of custom samples? - No. Tag/star/organize presets? - The Wavestate organizes presets using an unlimited number of "Set Lists" which you can organize however you like. Having used this functionality extensively over many hours during this weekend to both categorize and "favorite" dozens of ...

But it's not a replacement for the standard Wavestate is it? Nor is it an admission that somehow Korg "got it wrong" first time around.

If you're definitely not going to be switching waveforms, another way is to press the Wave Sequence Select button (next to the screen) and set the mode to Single Multisample and then choose the Wave: Sine sample from that screen. That disables wave sequencing for the layer. This method has the added ...

Wave Sequence Filter Tracking

Is there any way to get the Filter to track the Pitch Lane?
I don't want to double-up on programming by using the Step Seq Lane to do it.

Thanks in advance,
J.

> who the hell thought putting a 37-note keyboard on it was the way to go? Either make it a module with no keyboard or offer it with 49 or 61 full-size keys Maybe it was someone who knew the market better than you? The Wavestate form factor is perfect for me. If you want a bigger keyboard, then ...

Well, everything about the form factor of the Wavestate is perfect for me. The keys are full sized, yet the overall size of the unit is exactly what I want. The build is sturdy enough, yet the weight is perfect for having on my lap when I am lounging around the house doing sound design. Personally I ...

The default Set List isn't write-protected, which looks like an oversight.
