Although - I now remeber that the files , once copied to the SD are very small as if containing no data.

Mivy I am not trying to copy pcg with samples just the data that defines combis and programs like the free files in the downloads area on this website. I have them on my PC and I am ttrying to copy them to my SD card by means of a card reader. Problem is that it only copies the names of the files ...

Maybe a silly question but I gotta ask - can I use samples with the RAM sticks but without the Expansion board ?

(I dont need to play with sampling just playing commercial or free samples)

but Steinberg really refer to borrowing as illegal use. Many people tend to use this term when they want to tell you they hacked the software but are adding a big 'wink'.
