True, the MOSS board is an add-on, and sampling isn't that great unless you top out the memory and make use of media to save it all.

These options are what make the Extreme such a great synth for me. How about you?

Also I don't know if it is just the KARMA, but the programs and the combis particularly seem to have a stupid amount of reverb and bass boom. If the pot does need to be replaced, "Parts is Parts" might have the slider for your Triton. You can try calling them. Their number is on this page which also shows some Korg pots for sale:
