Hi KeyplayerG! I'm a bit late to this topic so maybe you already solved it, but as bpoodoo points out, the "Category" button is exactly for this. Here you can step through only the programs within a category: https://i.imgur.com/0t7zQVJ.png Also, from the normal playing mode, if you press the HOLD ...

Hi DiscoDean! Edited: I first replied with how to do this on the Radias, then I realized you were asking about the R3. I don't have an R3, but according to the manual on page 26, the R3 should have the Bend Range setting under "PITCH-B". Change this setting to 0 for your lower timbre: https://i ...

Hi Nick,

The TR-rack is a different synth than the TR (yes, it's confusing).
Your TR-Rack is a Trinity synth in rack format. The Korg TR is based on the Triton synth which came later.

On your TR-rack you can restore the preload sounds like this:

Hi Markus, I guess this does not solve your problem, but according to p.175 of the Korg X2 manual: "The X2/X3 disk format is the same as that used on MS-DOS 720KB disks". :( So it doesn't sound like there's any proprietary format, your PC should be able to read those disks, if the drive is OK and ...

You also have two MFX and one TFX, so the total max # of effects is 8.

Also the FX routing is quite flexible. You decide where in the effect chain each timbre goes.

Hi Menhirs! Congratulations on getting the Radias, it's a great synth! Hope you enjoy it! What is it that you expect should happen, that doesn't happen? When you change the scale in P02 it should change the tuning(pitch) for the applicable notes. For example, I checked now with a guitar tuner app ...

There are a couple of points to check: - First, After upgrading to Xpanded, you still need to have the USB stick with the EXBPCM**.KEP files connected to the M3 during startup, as the samples will load from there. They will not actually be copied to your M3 when you do the upgrade, only the system ...

For a Yamaha foot controller the polarity should be + IIRC, but you tried that already so it sounds like the problem is somewhere else. As far as I know, there's no option in Global to disable the damper. You can disable the damper in the midi filter in a Combi, Seq or Karma, but that's on a per ...

Hi PlasticLoveDoll, If it's a polarity problem, you should get a response from the M3 - just that the response will be the wrong way around (sound being sustained when the pedal is up, and sustain going away when you depress it). If there is no response at all then there is some other problem. Just ...

If you're in the EU, I got my replacement encoder from Vintage Synth Parts in Italy, really recommend them. Link: https://www.vintagesynthparts.com/korg/radias/.

If you're in the US there seems to be plenty of eBay sellers that have replacement encoders.

Replacing the encoder, how-to.

I've had the dreaded value encoder problem for a year. I could fix it temporarily by spraying it with electronic cleaner and wiggling it around, but the problem always came back. Finally, I decided to man up and just replace the encoder. Thanks a lot LiPI for posting your experiences in this thread ...
