As best as I can tell, the Korg iPad apps monitor for and use data on all CoreMidi ports available. For example, if I am running the iElectribe app and have my iPad in my iO Dock with the MIDI ports on it connected correctly to ports on my MIDI interface. I can create a track in Reaper that sends ...

App request - iMS2000

I would love to see an iMS2000 app make an appearance. I would gladly pay $100.00 USD for it, as I would heavily use it.

Hello Mate: I have the latest version of the iElectribe, and I am not experiencing the graphic issues that you describe. As I am pretty new to the world of iPad, I don't know what specs are relevant, so I am going to list what I know: iPad - iPad 3 - 32 GB Model MD334LL iOS Version - 6.0.1 (10A523 ...

OK, I got this sorted. As long as data is sent on channel 10, the iElectribe will detect it. The EMU X MIDI 2x2 has 2 ports, and when I sent data on channel 10, it didn't matter which port I was hooked up to, the iElectribe played. That's pretty doggone slick if you ask me.

Are you using Channel 10 to communicate to the iElectribe? It is locked into this channel, and messages must be transmitted on this channel number.

getting CoreMIDI to work with iElectribe

Hello: I have the Korg iElectribe (latest version) running on an iPad 3 with the latest flavor of iOS 6. I have an E-MU X-MIDI 2z2 unit connected to the iPad through the Apple Camera Connection Kit adapter. The iPad seems to be OK with this interface, as I have successfully used it with Alchemy ...
