To start this off, I am totally blind and unfortunately, I can't work the touch screen of my Kronos 2 61 myself, but I do have some sighted help some times. Here's my delimma. I have the following Kronos libraries ...

I have a special interest in this app for different reasons. I am totally blind and have had my Kronos since November. The touch screen makes it impossible to do more than select sounds. I am hoping that I can open a dialogue with the developer to make this app compatible with the voiceover screen ...

Re: Kurt Ader's app for Kronos
OK, good. Now, how do I email the developer so I can talk to him about making this app accessible to a blind person , if it isn't already? Yes this is the one! But i have problemes syncing to my K73X. Good news for all of us who use iPad. Kurt Ader let me know a few seconds later that he will ...

Patch management, i.e. combine two banks into one
hi, everybody. I've been buying some krs and a few exs libraries for my Kronos 61 and have quite the collection here. Some of these banks, i.e. ka pro most wanted 2 and the dan sesco most wanted leads, don't fill an entire bank and I'd like to combine two banks into one to free up a bank for the ka ...

Re: Kurt Ader's app for Kronos
Good news for all of us who use iPad. Kurt Ader let me know a few seconds later that he will release his app to control our beast as soon as before christmas! Check that out guys! I did a search in the app store and found kronos remote. It's not from Kurt, it's from somebody else. Is this the app ...

I've just tried using a free program called NVDA Screen Reader with the Kronos Editor running on a Windows PC. NVDA can read and convert the the menu bar at the top of the Editor screen into audio and can also do the same with some of the drop down selections associated with some of the parameters ...

The Kronos Editor, downloadable from the Korg website, might be able to take advantage of the built in operating system's visibility tools to make it more usable, especially when coupled with a large screen. The Kronos Editor gives access to just about everything that can be modified on the Kronos ...

This topic came up in the M50 forum in mid August. If someone is visually impaired, rather than totally blind, then it might be possible to make the screen more easily readable. This link might give some idea of what's out there: http://shop.rnib.org.uk/magnification/video-magnifiers/desktop-video ...

Honestly, I think the Kronos is one the least suitable instruments for a blind person you could possibly find. The touchscreen can be tricky even for fully sighted people to use - it's common to have to touch a screen button or selection twice because it's not 100% accurate. Add to that the fact ...

I don't know how much this will help you, but there are shortcuts for the page menu commands. This is from the manual. "Each page has a set of menu commands, which provide access to different utilities, commands, and options, depending on the page you’re currently on. You can use the menu commands e ...

King Korg for the visually impaired
Hi. I have had a King Korg since April and I love it. ONe area that is a real headache is the virtual patch screens. I've managed to get most of the menu structure from the parameter guide and can count key presses to get to most things, but the layout of the virtual patch screen is not clear to me ...

New Kronos user who is blind
Some time ago, I posted here asking about accessibility of the Kronos for a person with no sight. I had given up on the idea, and also, I couldn't afford to buy the keyboard. I managed to come across an open box Korg Kronos 2, 61 key and grabbed it, since it was discounted, maybe against my better ...

Within PCG Tools I also have been asked to make some small changes for visually impaired people ... it was about putting texts in a special command to convert to text (where a separate application could speak it). Also I have been asked again for something similar but I did not get a reaction back ...
