i've had the same problem. I probably don't have the right answer, but I'll tell you what I do (maybe someone else has an easier/correct solution). I save the midi files I want to the SD card. Before heading over to the TR, I load the midi file into a player/editor where I can see what instruments ...

Another way to think about this is that when you save a sequence to the SD card, you're saving everything in the sequencer. So if you have three or four songs there that you're working on, you'll be saving all of them. Any song that hasn't been renamed will be saved with the name New Song (001: New ...

Maybe I don't fully understand your question, but I think what you're hearing on B000 is the program LFO settings. BTW, the LFO settings are assigned to knob 2, so you may be able to get what you're after just by twistin' the knob.

Great info.

Good to know if you want to use the pedal overall volume (with a minimum). I use mine mainly for control of only some voices within a sequence or combi, like to make the strings come up behind the piano. but it's nice to know how to hook it up other ways.

Thanks,

Hmmm.... I just checked, and the min vol slider does not seem to work on mine either. I opened it up, and didn't see anything disconnected or loose. Not sure what to think.

If I understand your question right.... no. I don't play drums to begin with, so "playing" them on the keyboard so as to record it into a storable pattern will be another learning opportunity <shrug>. For my purposes, the best answer would be to have a much larger selection of pre-recorded common ...

Thanks so much for the reply, but Ouch!! How the heck will I get some expressive drums? I'm going to have to chew on this a bit. I suppose I could make some songs that only contained drum patterns, then I could pick and choose. But geeze... I'd have to create all of 'em, then deal with remembering ...

User Drum Patterns, Is it this hard?

This is my first visit and post to the forum. There seems to be a ton of good info here. I bought a TR61 a while back to build background tracks for my guitar work. I'm not an experience keyboard player and learning to use the board and program the sequencer has been well.... challenging, but I'm ...
