John: Yes, I am probably dating myself with this style of tune ...I used the "old" M-1 for brass tracks.....Korg CX-3 organ, Le-88 for the rest....got my bandmates to do bass and guitar for me.....fun to work on... George: I used a drum track off the D-1600 recorder to set it up....real kit works ...

march Song....Party On People

Always liked "horn" tunes.....so I thought I`d put one together....actually had our band do it live on our last gig to test it out....crowd went with it pretty well on the dance floor....got me away from the slow ballad thing for once...

Very nice! Has that "spring thaw" vibe for me....babbling brooks....melting icicles....rain/snow trickles.....calm, serene flow....delicate touch...sweet tone...well-played. Good on ya!
Cheers!

Yessiree....for some reason this was a labor of love putting together. The cello comes from the venerable old Korg M-1....I still use it in some way for just about everything I come up with. GEORGE...Glad to hear it might run around in your head now and then..a response we always hope to achieve ...

Amazing! How you folks keep coming up with these pieces "freaks" me out....I`d love to try something in this area....but the bar is now set so high, although, it would be a good way to learn eh? You`ve got a nice "fat" sound here and obviously know your way around this stuff. Liked it a lot! CHEERS ...

John, This is delightful....so unpredictable, in that , just when I think you`re going here, you go there...if that makes sense...still nicely connected and so warmly melodic...conjures up many wonderful memories for me because it puts me in a very nice place.....wish I had your skills..... CHEERS ...

I`m not sure how "bleak" this is for my ears......certainly heading in that direction but the images I receive are not necessarily taking me there. I love the strings and various instrumental voices you have engaged here...and can imagine an opening/closing sequence on the big screen with this ...

Hiya Charles......I don`t know how these pieces are put together and what the process involves......that doesn`t matter to me because there are talented folks here who do and can offer innovative and constructive ideas on this.....suffice it to say, I appreciate and enjoy the opportunity to listen ...

I like the variety of themes you`ve got pulsating throughout this piece.....I have no help critique-wise on this genre of music other than to say it`s easy on my ears.....I have no experience in composing this level of quality in this area....but I`m wide-open to listening and enjoying it. Keep `em ...

Ah John,
You really whack me in the chest with this.......seems sad, in a way, melancholic and hopeful.....can picture so many images when I close my eyes and just listen.......wish I could play this well.....
Cheers!
