Out of interest, can either of them be used as a midi controller? sorry that it's irrelevant :( As long as they have midi out which they do, any keyboard can be a midi controller BUT!!! True midi controllers are specifically designed for that very purpose ei Roland Pro A800 controller,M Audio ...

Thanks, sir! Strange that there is no link on the regular forum page (or is there?). Also, I would like to contribute some Mellotron and Chamberlain samples I've done. How do I do that?

Gargamel314 wrote:you shouldnt. Try going to the downloads section of this site and download some sample data from the Korg Triton page - make sure you get one with PCG/KSC data - you should be able to open a fully working patch.
I seem to be unable to locate download section. Can you help?

I have a TR61 and it, along with two midi controller keyboards are all I use in the '70s style Brit prog act I'm in. I use custom combis for each song and spread out keyboard zones across all three keyboards. It has sample option and I have gone to great lengths to sample Mellotron, Chamberlain ...

Getting power from USB port

Hello, all:

I just purchased a midi controller keyboard which I use to play a separate sound module in my keyboard stack. I see that it can be powered by a USB cable when attached to a computer. I have a TR 61 which also has a USB port. Does anyone know it it can be used to power the midi controller?

Unfortunately it doesn't quite work like that. However, if you are into making your own combis (well, if you want to use the controller, you will have to be), you can assign different programs to the other keyboard. for example, everything you want to respond to the TR's controls you would set to ...

Using midi controller with TR

I am planning to play with a setup consisting of a TR-61 and a Roland A-33 midi controller. The idea is that I want to select patches from the A-33 that will in turn select patches on the TR in such a way that I can play one patch on the TR's keyboard while simultaneously accessing an entirely ...

Punch in/punch-out

In the sequencer, I'm wanting to select measure 010-012 and set them up so that when I overwrite that track, only those two measures are overwritten. The rest of the measures are write protected. On other systems they have a function called "punch-in" and "punch out". Is their an equivalent on the ...

i have sampled successfully, but if all you have done is plug a cable in then describing the entire process would be too unwieldy. I suggest using the manual and get as deep into it as you can and when you get to a stopping point, you could ask a specific question.

Good luck!

Thanks for reply. Actually, I seem to have solved my problem by loading the next two Ms' by using "append", rather than "clear". Silly me.

Load more than one MS?

I need to load three sets of multi-samples for a performance. So far it seems i can only have one MS loaded at a time. Am I doing something wrong or is this a limitation of the TR?
