I am having problems with the demo software I downloaded (Abelton Live 7 and Sequel 2). I am using a midi controller and when I record midi tracks in a small loop, it uses all of my cpu to run a few different midi tracks. Or when I am playing a pad and I hold down about 8 or so keys, it uses all of ...

DAW Question- Stephen please help
I am new to the computer music scene and would like to know which DAW to get. I need something that's easy, inexpensive and doesn't push my computer too hard. I have a Sony VAIO dual core 2 GHZ, 3 GB Ram laptop.

Radias or Radias R?
What disadvantages are there for using a midi keyboard to control the Radias R as opposed to just having a Radias with the Radias keybed? I am just about ready to pull the trigger on a Radias R, just wanted to know if I'm making the right choice. Thanks

Please help, need advice
I have a home based non-professional recording studio (16 track studio, Yamaha MO6, Korg EMX). I am contemplating getting a second keyboard, but I am curious about computer integration. I have never used a computer in any phase of my music. Should I get a second keyboard like the M50 or Radias, or ...

I need some advice
I have been shopping around for another keyboard (I have a Yamaha MO6) and I am having a hard time making up my mind. My nephew made me a cd of his music he had made on his computer and I was impressed. How does recording on a computer compare to real instruments and a multitrack recording studio ...

Step Sequencer Question
I was wondering if any of you Radias owners, who might also have an Electribe, could tell me if the step sequencers in the Radias work the same way as in the Electribes. I have never been able to get my hands on a Radias, so I need your input.

Thanks for your advice. I'm considering selling the MO6 to help fund the M50. I don't know if there is a big enough difference between them though. I have multiple scenarios going on in my head. One is to save up for the M3, which might take awhile. Another is to get an M50 and then down the road ...
I am torn
I have a Yamaha MO6 and Korg EMX. I want something to give me more variety in my music. My music is unique, but tends to lean towards techno. I originaly wanted to get the M3, but decided it was too expensive. I am almost sure about getting the M50, but since I have the MO6, I don't know if I need ...

Thanks for your nice replies. I was afraid that I was coming off as knocking Karma. That is not the case. I am in awe of it. I am just afraid of spending $1900 on something that might be way over my head. I am also afraid of being tempted to use Karma too much resulting in a song that was written by ...

Is Karma useful for creating original music?
I am a home based studio songwriter. I am seriously debating between the M3 and the M50. I know that the M3 is vastly superior to the M50, but also costs almost twice as much. I read that Karma is VERY complicated and trying to do original stuff on it is difficult. Most of the demos I have seen ...
